Programme
The first two days of IGSAR will be devoted to introductory tutorials on social dynamics of argument, and on the last day students will join and participate in the ArgDiaP conference.

- information whether you are a student or post-doc
Registration fee for the PhD school has to be paid via a bank transfer. Please make sure to indicate that the payment is for the PhD school on argumentation and rhetoric by putting “IGSAR 2013” in the transaction description:

Full registration fee covers the participation in 3 days of the IGSAR school, including:
- coffee breaks
- lunches
- gala dinner, which will take place on Sat after the conference in the city center (details of the dinner venue will be given during the conference)
Grants
The European Network for Social Intelligence (SINTELNET) sponsors several grants to students to support the attendance at the IGSAR school. An application should be sent to Dr. Katarzyna Budzynska: budzynska.argdiap (at) gmail.com, mentioning “[IGSAR 2013] Grant Request” in the subject line. When applying for the grant, it is necessary to submit the following documents in pdf format:
- Grant request: give your name; institution’s name and address; your email; and requested funding (fee, travel, accommodation) with specific amounts
- Proof of student status
- Brief description of your research topic and the importance of attending IGSAR
- Letter of support from your supervisor stating why the grant is needed to enable the student to attend IGSAR
The grants will be available only for Sintelnet members, therefore interested students need to register first. Sintelnet accepts new members at any time – you just need to fill in the online form.

- The notification will be sent: 1st May 5th May
Additionally, PhD students of the Graduate School for Social Research GSSR (Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences) can apply for financial support directly to Dr. John Fells. For details of application procedure, please send an email to: jfells (at) css.edu.pl
Accommodation
Warsaw offers a lot of hotels and Bed&Breakfast. We recommend the following hotels:
- HERA Hotel, Belwederska 26/30; students’ hotel, a close bus ride to the conference venue, located close to the Warsaw royal park Łazienki: map
- Mazowiecki Hotel, Mazowiecka 10; basic hotel but located very close to the conference venue (approx. 7 min): map

Booking and payments for accommodation should be arranged directly with the chosen hotel or B&B. Note that accommodation is subject to availability.

From Warsaw Chopin airport:
- bus number 175 in the direction of Piłsudski plaza (pl. Piłsudskiego); get off at “Uniwersytet 02” at al. Krakowskie Przedmieście (travel time: approx. 35-45 min)
