The inaugural ArgDiaP Argumentation Paper of the Year Prize, for works published in 2020, has been awarded to Dorota Żelechowska, Natalia Żyluk, & Mariusz Urbański (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań) for their paper ‘Find Out A New Method to Study Abductive Reasoning in Empirical Research‘ in the International Journal of Qualitative Methods, Vol. 19.

The Steering Committee send their congratulations to the successful trio for this well-deserved award. The competition was extremely stiff, reflecting the strength of the Polish argumentation community and its research output. We look forward to receiving nominations for next year’s prize in the near future and expect the standard of work to be even higher than it was for this, the first edition.

Well done to the team from Poznań and to all of those who were nominated!
